1. What these terms cover
These terms apply to every order placed with Ascension Research, 4034 Wears Cove Rd, Tennessee, United States. They sit alongside the Research agreement, which you accept with a signature at checkout, and the Who we supply policy. Where they differ, the Research agreement applies.

2. Investigational use only
Every product is supplied for investigational use only, in laboratory research animals or for tests in vitro. Products are not approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, and are not medicines, foods, cosmetics, dietary supplements or medical devices. You will not use, administer or apply any product in humans, or use it in the manufacture of anything intended for humans.

3. Who may order
Orders are accepted from laboratories, universities, companies and qualified researchers with the training, facilities and authorization to receive and handle these materials. We may ask about your organization and your research before an order ships, and may decline or cancel any order. Cancelled orders are refunded in full.

4. Acceptance at checkout
At checkout you confirm the statements above and type your full name as an electronic signature. Your name, your organization and the date are recorded on the order. An order cannot be placed without them.

5. Handling and responsibility
Once delivered, you are responsible for storing, handling and disposing of products following laboratory safety practice and all laws that apply where you are, and for the safety of everyone who handles them.

6. No resale for prohibited use
You will not resell, repackage, relabel, dilute or distribute any product for use in humans, or for any purpose these terms or the law prohibit, and you will pass these terms on to anyone you transfer material to.

7. Lot reports
Each lot is tested by an independent laboratory and its certificate of analysis applies only to the lot number stated on it. Record the lot number you receive in your own laboratory records. If a product and its certificate ever disagree, contact us and we will put it right.

8. Orders, prices and payment
Prices are in US dollars and may change without notice. We may correct errors in a listed price or description and will contact you before charging a different amount. Payment is taken at checkout.

9. Shipping and returns
Our Shipping policy and Refund policy form part of these terms.

10. Liability
Ascension Research is not liable for the misuse of any product it sells, or for loss arising from use of a product outside the purpose stated above. Nothing in these terms limits liability where the law does not allow it.

11. Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee and the United States.
